Solar panel installation, air-source heat pump, and underfloor heating for residential barn conversions project.

We have completed the installation of all the heating and plumbing works on this barn conversion project near Loggerheads, Staffordshire.

These bespoke conversions were rebuilt from bare brick barns and are a testament to the local construction company that converted them. The barns are now heated by a Stiebel Eltron WPL25 air source heat pump which provides each of the barns heating and hot water needs. There are also 14.4kw of in roof solar panels which provide electricity to both barns.

On the ground floor we installed underfloor heating, while the upper floors have traditional style column radiators. The temperature in each room can be controlled independently and remotely using a Heatmiser thermostat. The Stiebel Eltron heat pump can be monitored remotely and settings changed using the Internet Service Gateway installed.
