Boiler Upgrade Scheme – £7,500 Grant
If you’re considering installing an air source or ground source heat pump, you may be eligible for support through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
This government-backed scheme currently offers a £7,500 grant towards the cost of installing a heat pump in eligible homes across England and Wales.
For example, if a heat pump installation costs £12,000, the grant could reduce the cost to £4,500. Many customers choose to use finance to spread the remaining balance into affordable monthly payments.

VAT Reduction on Energy-Saving Systems
From 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2027, VAT is set at 0% on many energy-saving installations.
This includes:
Solar panels – Battery storage – Heat pumps – Insulation
This reduces the overall installation cost immediately, before finance is applied.
Solar Export Payments (Smart Export Guarantee)
If you install solar panels, you may be able to earn money by exporting unused electricity back to the grid.
This is done through the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), with payments varying depending on your energy provider.
This can help offset your energy bills over time.
Finance Options Available

- 0% APR finance over 12 or 24 months
- 12.9% APR finance over 36, 48, 60 or 120 months
A deposit may be required and will be confirmed before your application begins.
