Air-source heat pump, underfloor heating and thermaskirt for residential renovation/extension project.

We have recently completed the installation of all the heating and plumbing works on this residential renovation project in Staffordshire.

The house was previously heated by a gas boiler, and is now heated by a Stiebel Eltron WPL15 air source heat pump which provides all of the property’s hot water.

Different heat emitters were used throughout the property in different areas. In the lounge and kitchen areas we installed underfloor heating. ThermaSkirt heating was installed to provide heat to the bedrooms, landing and hallway. Each of the four bathrooms/en-suites which we also installed are now heated by dual fuel towel rails. The temperature in each room can be controlled independently and remotely using a Heatmiser thermostat. The Stiebel Eltron heat pump can be monitored remotely and settings changed using the Internet Service Gateway installed.
