Solar PV or Solar Photovoltaic, is a technology that converts sunlight directly into electricity.
As the sun shines, or even at lower light intensities, electrical energy is produced when the light photons are absorbed by these PV cells. And there you go, a viable way in which to power your home or premises, or electric car.
The output of PV panels has come a long way in the last few years and you’ll be surprised how much output can be achieved from an average array area. So much so that most of the installations we carry out now include battery storage to make the most of the surplus.
